The ace designer enjoyed designing elegant chic clothes for the young actress.

“Genelia is such a young girl that it was fun to make the wedding trousseau for her. I avoided bling and shimmer because I didn’t want clothes to overshadow her personality. Hence the silhouette which I designed for her is simple yet elegant and chic,” said Ritu Kumar.

The outfits in Genelia’s trousseau comprise of a nude and black net Anarkali suit with multi panelled layers, which the 24-year-old is expected to wear for her mehndi ceremony.

The bodice is accentuated with a see through layer of lace like filigree. The ensemble is teamed up with a black and nude coloured dupatta and a nude coloured churidar.

For the D-day, Kumar has designed a lehenga, choli and odhni in gold and indigo blue for Genelia. The blouse is made of indigo blue velvet with antique dhapka embroidery, while lehanga has antique gold weaving with zardozi embroidery.

The odhni is a subtle mix of gold and indigo blue and the designer feels it will highlight Genelia’s petite frame.

According to the designer, the ensemble resembles a 19th century archival piece.

“For Genelia’s trousseau, I have chosen colours that will enhance her vivacious personality. She can carry off the traditional Indian look beautifully. The Anarkali and lehenga designed beautifully complement Genelia. The ensemble resembles a 19th century archival piece,” the designer said.

Will she attend the wedding?

“Let see, I have many other projects to finish so may be.”

The couple started dating when they first met on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam. Post marriage they have a new release coming up – Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya on February 24.

Apparently Sajid and Gauri called for a meeting at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence Mannat between the two warring parties. Over a hot meal and cool discussion, the acrimony was wiped clean.

Apparently Shah Rukh and Shirish have decided to start their rapport all over again.

Confirming the reconciliation at Mannat Sajid Khan said, “Yes, I felt terrible about the ugly turn that the whole affair took. Shah Rukh and Shirish had a fight, agreed. But the media didn’t have to play it up to the point of making it on the front of national newspapers.”

Getting sentimental Sajid Khan says, “Do you know when my sister Farah and Shirish got married there were only three witnesses. Me, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shah Rukh. We’re family.And there’re bound to be differences between family members. Yes, Gauri and I took the initiative.All of us met at Mannat over a meal.And it was all sorted out.”

Adds Farah Khan, “I can’t begin to tell you how relieved I am. This had turned really ugly. And before it got uglier my brother took matters into his hands.Full credit to Gauri for making the reconciliation happen.When my brother asked her where we should meet she said Mannat ,because she said it’s Farah’s home. I am so moved.”

Farah says this is not only the end of the ugly spat between her husband and Shah Rukh, it is also a new beginning for her and Shah Rukh. “I really liked what he said. He made us promise to wipe out all the bitterness of the last two years and start afresh.I feel like a big burden is off my back.”

All is well that ends well.

The argument apparently started when SRK confronted Shirish about his nasty remarks on RA.One. During RA.One’s release, Kunder had tweeted: “I just heard a 150 Cr firework
fizzle.”

Farah Khan confirmed the incident. “Shirish, my husband, was beaten up by Shah Rukh and his three bodyguards in Sanjay Dutt’s party. Shah Rukh asked Shirish why he had tweeted against him… There was no provocation from our side. Farah Khan also SMSed reporters: “Shahrukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way 2 sort out a problem, n that its means the person who’s hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on, n it saddens me 2 see him doing the same (sic).”

When things got out of hand, Sanjay Dutt had to intervene to stop the brawl. Later, Dutt and Sameer Arya (brother-in-law of filmmaker Goldie Behl) reportedly escorted SRK out.

N 2each guest dat came, thank u 4bein der, made me feel d celebrations hv begun, yayyyy.” Riteish said, “Wanna thank my buddies Fardeen Khan & Sajid Nadiadwala for having an extraordinary party for Genelia n Me. Had a blast with all my friends. Its really overwhelming when someone goes out of their way 2 make u feel special-n M feelin like d king of d world.Fardeen n Saj LOVE U both.”

Saif Ali Khan plays the title role in the film, while Kareena Kapoor portrays the role of a secret agent with grey shades.

The long-delayed Saif Ali Khan production venture Agent Vinod has been completed and the film will release on March 23. Director Raghavan revealed that the celebrity couple – Saif and Kareena Kapoor – shot for the last day of Agent Vinod on December 24.

“My shooting with Saif and Kareena is over. We are all done. Saif and Kareena did their last shooting for my film on December 24 and left for their holiday. We are now in post-production work,” said the director known for making thrillers Ek Hasina Thi (2004 )and Johnny Gaddaar (2007).

The actor recently wrapped up shooting for Kunal Kohli’s tentatively titled “Teri Meri Kahaani”, in which he features with Priyanka Chopra. But after that, he is still waiting to lock something.

“I don’t like to comment on any of my films till the producers make an official announcement. All I can say is I don’t have any films right now. So right now I am unemployed,” Shahid told reporters at an event organised here Monday by electronics company Pioneer India.

However, his fans don’t need to be disappointed, as he said: “In the second half of the year I have many films.”

Will his “unemployed” status come in the way of his plans of settling down?

“I am available. It takes a certain amount of time to establish yourself. It’s better if your partner is with you to share your journey in life,” commented the actor, whose father’s directorial “Mausam” failed to mint moolah at the box office.

Meanwhile, talking about working with his rumoured ex-girlfriend Priyanka, he hints that the duo will recreate their “Kaminey” chemistry in Kohli’s project.

“It’s premature to talk about the film. It’s a film which is shot over three different time periodS. It’s a romantic comedy. Priyanka is a fun co-star and we share a good chemistry,” he said.

Shahid wrapped up shooting on the project Jan 8. It is scheduled to release June 22.

“It all began in December 2010 at a gym in Bandra, where John and Bipasha used to work out together. Initially, Priya would only exchange pleasantries with the couple. However, slowly and steadily, she started getting close to John. Bipasha didn’t see the chemistry brewing between the two. Right now rumour mills are abuzz that John Abraham has secretly tied the knot with his investment banker girlfriend Priya Runchal.

The sequel to the 2010 hit film Housefull, the movie stars the comically formidable Akshay Kumar along with Ritesh Deshmukh, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani and Chunkey Pandey from the original.

The new additions in the film are Mithun Chakraborty, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee and Shreyas Talpade.

A leaked version of the shoot of the funny song titled Papa Toh Band Bajaye has started doing the rounds of the internet. Farah Khan can be seen directing the song sequence. However, surprisingly, the video not only features the actors Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade and Ritesh Deshmukh, but also the director Sajid Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala showing their dancing skills on the stage.

The song has a retro feel to it as the actors are seen in colourful coats and wide-framed glasses. The response to the leaked song is awesome and some are alleging that the track is lifted from the song We speak no Americano.

The film is being produced by Saif under his banner Illuminati Films. The first trailer of the film will be released on the screening of Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Agneepath’ which is lined up for January 26. ‘Agent Vinod’ has been directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Raghavan deems the film is “the story of a spy. It is a realistic film and not a spoof or comic James Bond. It is full of action pieces, thrills, and characters.” The music of the film has been given by Pritam. Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Agent Vinod and Kareena Kapoor as Iram.
