Jab We Met – Hindi Movie Preview
Shahid and Kareena have another reason to be in the news besides their alleged break up and that is because of their forthcoming film called “Jab We Met“. This is a comedy film directed by Imtiaz Ali and one of the most awaited flicks as far as Kareena is concerned. The film has a lot of positives than the negatives. To begin with, it has some foot tapping number by Pritam. This will be the fouth film for the once upon a time lovers called Shahid and Kareena after Fida, 36 China Town and Chup Chup ke. The film is beautifully shot in Nabha, a state located in the interiors of Punjab.
To elaborate further on the story of the film, Kareena plays the character of a talkative Sikh girl called Geet and she actually had to go to the extent of learning the original lingo and mannerisms of a typical Sikh girl. This is the first time that the audiences will be viewing Kareena playing a Sikh character and has a lot of dialogues in Punjabi with her onscreen and off screen beau Shahid called Aditya in the film. Even during the normal Hindi dialogues, she was made to learn the Punjabi twang to the language.
The movie depicts a train journey between two individuals called Geet and Aditya in the heart of Punjab and they eventually fall for each other. Aditya is a lost industrialist and furthermore he has also lost the love of his life as the girl he liked was getting married to someone else and thus he gathers the courage to move out of the house and roam aimlessly in the trains. Geet on the other hand is a talkative girl, something close to annoyance and she meets Aditya on the way to Bhatinda. Both of them somehow miss the train the process of bringing along each other and finally Geets parents meet Aditya and mistake him for Kareena’s lover, but Geet runs away to her boyfriend and Aditya goes to his ailing business…
This is not it…the story has a further twist and it is a recommended watch…All eyes on its release on 26th October…
