Kangana Ranaut Offered 1 Crore To Go "Bald"

Kangana Ranaut is in a dilemma these days. On one hand, she has been offered Rs 1 crore plus to get the bald look for new Tamil film, and on the other hand, she is reluctant to go unconventional and part with her dearest locks.

According to a source, “A prominent Tamil production house has approached Kangana with a highest ever offered price to her till date in her career in the film industry. Their only condition is that she should feature in this action thriller film in a bald state for a few scenes. Kangana hasn’t given her nod to the role yet. But she is definitely considering giving it a go ahead. Not just for the price, but the role is a very challenging one.” 

After the success of her first Tamil film, ‘Dhaam Dhoom’, the lady has become the favourite of South Indian directors. This one crore remuneration will be highest ever paid to the actress. Kangana has been in news for playing the character based on the infamous and unfortunate model Geetanjali, in Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming ‘Fashion’. And now this ‘bald’ business has brought the spotlight on the actress again.

Going bald onscreen is a very bold act, especially in the still conventional Bollywood. Only a handful of actresses like Nandita Das, Shabana Azmi, Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas have gone bald to play for their parts. Let’s see how ‘bald’ can Kangana get!
