“Mumbai Salsa” is a name of a pub located in the heart of this metropolitan city. The story of the film revolves around this place. Today’s life involves extensive work throughout the day and then the youth finds it distressing to go out pubbing after busy days of work. This film shows the same reality. He experiences an apprehensive approach when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex. Finally he meets his lady love.

Karan (Indranil Sengupta) is a merchant banker and he is a happy character of the film. He is shown as a flirt and can never be serious with any relationship.

Subramaniyam (Dilip Thadekar) works in the same advertising company as Rajiv and this fellow seems to be conventional. He is the one that appears to be preserving his cultural values by default.

Shahji (Raymond Irani) is a gym instructor in the film and Maya (Manjari Fernandes) is a human resouces head in a leading bank of the city. Maya is a true perfectionist.

She has come to India in search of her love.

Neelam Chauhan runs a Salsa dance class and her parents have separated from the time she was very young and those haunting childhood memories keep disturning her. She wants someone in her life who can love her to the fullest. Will she ever find him?
