How often have you seen Shah Rukh Khan walking the ramp? Well, it’s the blitz and the competition that made him do something that he has never done it too often for promoting his films. This translates to the promotion of his latest film Om Shanti Om. The film is all set to be released on the 9 th of November. However, on the same day Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya is supposed to be released and there is a cut throat competition between the two mega starrers.
Shah Rukh Khan and the entire team of Om Shanti Om including Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Shreyas Talpade were seen walking the ramp on the October 9 th in the Grand Hyatt hotel. These characters displayed the costumes worn in the film. This film is potrays the era of the 70s and hence the fashion show was more about exhibiting that ear full of long leather coats and dissimilar sarees.
Both these respective film teams have left no stone unturned in promoting the film, the songs and even the costumes. It could be obvious to forecast that both these films would be worth a watch, keeping the film makers in mind. Very recently, the entire team of Om Shanti Om was seen on the popular reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma” except Shah Rukh Khan who is supposedly having a contract with STAR TV. Nevertheless, the king Khan did send in his song requests and in retaliation, the entire cast of Saawariya was seen on the sets of another popular singing reality show “Voice Of India”. The ultimate goal is to promote the films as much as they can because it would be hard to decided that which one is going to do better….
