Salman Khan Sentenced to Jail
Salman Khan’s lawyer confirmed on Friday that he is sentenced to jail for a year. This is in regards to hunting down the two rare speciies of black bucks in Jaipur.
During the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hai in the year 1998, Salman Khan was caught hunting down the rarest species of Black Bucks found in Rajasthan, India.
Along with the one year jail, he was also slapped a fine of 5000 rupees for his hunt. The Black Buck is considered to be the sacred animal to the people of Rajasthan and is often worshipped. It is found in most parts of the northern India.
The on lookers on the court suggested that Salman Khan readily accepted the punishment behaving very somber and matured. His attitude got a huge praise from his fans. However, his lawyer Hastimat Saraswat confirmed that they will be appealing to the higher court and at the moment Salman Khan is freed on a one- month bond.
