Will GUZAARISH Save Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Career?

It has not been a good year for Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. A close look at her films except her scintillating act opposite Rajnikanth in ROBOT presents a dismal picture.

Aishwariya had huge hopes from her latest release ACTION REPLAYY. The movie had everything going for it except the box-office luck. Now, with films like RAAVAN and ACTION REPLAYY failing to add to Aishwariya’s charisma and ROBOT being Rajnikanth’s film by large, the Bachchan Bahu is on the receiving end of her destiny.

Before the release of ACTION REPLAYY, Aishwariya had high hopes that the film will add another feather to her career, but as the facts stand now it has failed to do so.

Now, industry insiders feel that it will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s film GUZAARSH that may do the trick for her finally. Adds one source, “Aishwariya has been badly looking for a hit for long. Though ROBOT was a roaring hit but it was Rajnikanth’s film by every stretch of the imagination. The films that belonged to Aishwariya: RAAVAN and ACTION REPLAYY failed to do her any good. Now, all her hopes rest on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s GUZAARISH. This film will finally decide her take away from the year 2010.”

With Aishwariya’s hopes riding high on her forthcoming film GUZAARISH, let’s hope this time her hopes are not dashed to the ground. Fingers crossed.
